Logo & Brand Identity Project
This project was completed for a Pony Club chapter that regularly hosts lessons, clinics, and schooling shows. The club had been using a low-resolution stock graphic for years and needed a refreshed logo that honored both the tradition of Pony Club and the level of dedication seen in its riders, volunteers, and instructors.
This was a logo refinement and modernization project. The goal was not to reinvent the identity, but to elevate it — keeping the recognizable fox and hunting horn motif while refining the illustration into something clean, professional, and distinctly theirs.
The Challenge & Goals
What wasn’t working before:
The original logo was a small, low-quality image taken from a stock source. It appeared pixelated on signage, difficult to embroider, and lacked the expressive personality that reflects the heart and tradition of the club.
What they needed:
A refined, vector-based logo that:
- Preserves the recognizable fox + hunting horn symbol
- Reproduces cleanly at all sizes — banners to belt buckles to saddle pads
- Feels timeless, spirited, and rooted in equestrian culture
Why it mattered:
Pony Club chapters rely on community support, pride, and visibility. A polished logo strengthens:
- Event promotion
- Club merchandise sales
- Recognition at competitions
- Overall confidence and identity within the equestrian community
A clear, cohesive brand helps the club present itself as the thoughtful and well-organized group it is.

Results
Previously the club had a low-resolution stock image that wasn’t scalable and did not fully reflect the quality and heritage of the club. What we finished with was a custom, high-quality illustrative logo that maintains the beloved fox imagery while elevating the club’s visual identity across apparel, marketing, and event presence.

What I Loved About This Project
This logo refresh was about preserving a symbol that already meant something to riders and volunteers and shaping it into something clean and timeless that the club can be proud of. Bringing the fox to life in a more joyful form was especially fun for me since it resonated so much with the spirit of the club.
